By booking or engaging with nuvō8 services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms.

1. About nuvō8

nuvō8 is a personalised women’s health clinic providing evidence-based lifestyle medicine, functional nutrition and mind–body services.

Care may include a combination of:

• Lifestyle Medicine Optimisation

• Nutritional Therapy and Advanced Functional Testing

• Mind–Body Integration

Where appropriate, clients may be signposted or referred to independent, regulated healthcare professionals, including CQC-registered medical clinics.

nuvō8 does not provide medical diagnosis, prescribing, or medical treatment.

2. Nature of Services

Services at nuvō8 are delivered within a lifestyle medicine framework and are designed to support health, wellbeing and performance through personalised, evidence-based approaches.

All services are:

• Non-medical

• Clinically informed, educational and supportive in nature

• Focused on behavioural, nutritional and physiological factors influencing health

They are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. Integrated Care Model

nuvō8 provides a collaborative and integrated approach to care.

Clients may work with one or multiple practitioners as part of a personalised care plan. Where multiple services are involved:

• Care is coordinated across the nuvō8 team

• Relevant information may be shared internally on a need-to-know basis to support continuity of care

• Each practitioner operates within their defined scope of practice

4. Professional Scope & Boundaries

You understand and agree that:

• nuvō8 services do not constitute medical care, therapy, or psychological treatment

• nuvō8 practitioners do not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions

• Any medical care is delivered independently by appropriately regulated healthcare providers

Where appropriate, you may be advised to seek additional support, including medical input.

5. Client Responsibility

By engaging with nuvō8, you acknowledge that:

• Participation is voluntary

• You remain responsible for your health decisions and actions

• Recommendations are provided for educational and supportive purposes

• Outcomes cannot be guaranteed

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and relevant health information

• Inform your practitioner of any medical conditions, diagnoses, medications or changes in your health

• Seek appropriate medical care where required

6. Appointments & Delivery

Services are typically delivered remotely via secure video conferencing unless otherwise specified.

You are responsible for:

• Attending sessions at the scheduled time

• Completing any required intake forms or questionnaires in advance

7. Rescheduling & Missed Appointments

Appointments may be rescheduled with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

Requests should be made via email to care@nuvo8.com

Appointments missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are considered delivered and are non-refundable.

8. Fees, Payments & Refunds

Fees are payable in advance at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

Where packages or payment plans are in place:

• Fees remain payable in full in accordance with agreed terms

• Payment plans do not alter the total fee due

Refunds are not offered once a service has commenced.

Commencement of service includes preparation, review of intake information, and reserved appointment time.

9. Confidentiality & Data Protection

Personal information is handled confidentially and in accordance with UK GDPR.

Information may be shared within the nuvō8 team on a need-to-know basis to support your care.

Information will not be shared externally without your consent unless required by law.

10. Suitability & Ongoing Care

By engaging with nuvō8, you confirm that services are appropriate for you at this time.

If you are under the care of a medical or mental health professional, you understand the importance of continuing that care as required.

nuvō8 reserves the right to pause or discontinue services where they are no longer appropriate or fall outside professional scope.

11. Service-Specific Terms

Additional terms relating to specific services are outlined in the relevant nuvō8 service addendums, including:

• Lifestyle Medicine Optimisation

• Nutritional Therapy & Advanced Functional Testing

• Mind–Body Integration

These form part of your overall agreement with nuvō8 where applicable.

12. Agreement to Proceed

By booking or engaging with nuvō8 services, you confirm that you:

• Have read and understood these Terms of Engagement

• Have had the opportunity to ask questions

• Consent to proceed with services provided by nuvō8
